The Association of Fundraising Professionals-Northern Plains Chapter is sponsoring a workshop for individuals interested in supporting non-profit organizations. Volunteer board members, fundraising staff and volunteers will find the workshop topics helpful in their work to support charitable missions.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals-Northern Plains Chapter is sponsoring a workshop for individuals interested in supporting non-profit organizations. Volunteer board members, fundraising staff and volunteers will find the workshop topics helpful in their work to support charitable missions.
Workshop topics include, “Understanding oil & gas issues and how to help mineral owners achieve their charitable goals,” “Fund-raising in rural communities,” “Realistic fundraising for small non-profits” and the humorous “ Top Ten List: How to Make Sure Your Special Event is a Failure”.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Best Western Doublewood Inn in Bismarck. Registration is $70 for first-time workshop participants. Advance registration is required. Call 701-238-7443 to register by phone or visit www.afpnorthdakota.afpnet.org.
