Man injured in rollover collision

A man was Life-Flighted to Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover collision at 6 p.m. Thursday on 68th Avenue SE near 21st Street, northwest of Buchanan.

A man was Life-Flighted to Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover collision at 6 p.m. Thursday on 68th Avenue SE near 21st Street, northwest of Buchanan.

The accident occurred when two vehicles, one northbound and one southbound, met at the top of a hill on a narrow gravel road and side-swiped each other, according to Casey Yunck, a deputy with the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of a pickup truck ran off the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled his vehicle, Yunck said.

The driver in the other vehicle sustained no injuries, and the vehicle only minor damage.
