Sheriff investigates vehicle theft
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a vehicle in Ypsilanti. A 2001 maroon or burgundy Jeep sports utility vehicle was stolen from the area near Cuz’n Ron’s Saloon between 1:50 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday.By: By Sun Staff, The Jamestown Sun
The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a vehicle in Ypsilanti. A 2001 maroon or burgundy Jeep sports utility vehicle was stolen from the area near Cuz’n Ron’s Saloon between 1:50 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday.
The vehicle has a front-bumper winch and has Oregon license plates, No. 302CRG.
All doors were locked on the Jeep except the back hatch. There were no signs of forced entry.
Officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle. Anyone with information about the vehicle should contact the sheriff’s office at 252-9000. The sheriff’s office also requests that no one touch the vehicle once it is located.
