Authorities identify ND woman killed in accident
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified an 81-year-old North Dakota woman who was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday night near Lakota.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified an 81-year-old North Dakota woman who was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday night near Lakota.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Ramona Rainsberry, of Lakota, was driving southbound from Lakota when she stopped at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2. Rainsberry then pulled out into the path of another car, driven by 19-year-old Autum Thompson of Westhope, N.D.
Thompson's car struck Rainsberry car's in the driver's door and Rainsberry was killed.
Rainsberry's passenger, who officials identified as 80-year-old Davis Rainsberry of Lakota, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake and then airlifted to a Fargo hospital with injuries.
Thompson and her passenger, 19-year-old Benjamin Lodoen of Westhope, were taken to a hospital with injuries.
