Tribal leaders gathering in North Dakota
Leaders of tribes from around the Great Plains are meeting in Bismarck this week.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Leaders of tribes from around the Great Plains are meeting in Bismarck this week.
The 15th annual United Tribes Tribal Leaders Summit is Wednesday through Friday at the Bismarck Civic Center. It's organized by United Tribes Technical College, which is run by North Dakota tribes.
The United Tribes Board and the Great Plains Tribal Chairman's Association are holding coinciding meetings. The United Tribes International Powwow also is this week in Bismarck.
