BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The deadline for flood victims in nine North Dakota counties and the Spirit Lake reservation to register for state and federal disaster assistance is less than two weeks away.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says the deadline is Sept. 22 for residents on the reservation and in the counties of Barnes, Benson, Burleigh, McHenry, Morton, Ramsey, Renville, Richland and Ward.
That also is the deadline for disaster unemployment assistance and for U.S. Small Business Administration loan applications.
