The Kindred Vikings opened up Class AA football East Region play with a solid 27-8 victory in Lisbon over the Broncos on Friday night. The Kindred Vikings opened up Class AA football East Region play with a solid 27-8 victory in Lisbon over the Broncos on Friday night.
Kindred got things going in the first quarter with a 3-yard touchdown run by Eric Bachmeier. The Broncos would take an 8-7 lead in the second on a 14-yard scamper by Hunter Mairs, but it was all Vikings after that.
Kindred tacked on two more TDs in the second and added another one for good measure in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard Tyler Leslie run to roll to the victory.
The Vikings improved to 2-0 overall on the season, while the Broncos fell to 2-1.

Class A Harvey-WC 46, Hatton-NW 0
The Harvey-Wells County Hornets jumped on the back of senior quarterback M.J. Stumpf at home on Friday against Hatton-Northwood and cruised to a 46-0 shutout over the Thunder.
Stumpf completed 6 of 11 pass attempts for 127 yards and a score, and he also rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown, helping the No. 1-ranked Hornets stay unbeaten at 3-0.
Stumpf hooked up with Riley Hovland for a 50-yard TD pass-and-catch in the first quarter, as the Hornets scored 40 of their 46 points before halftime.
Harvey-Wells County moved to 2-0 in Class A’s Region 2 with the victory. The Thunder fell to 0-2 in the region.
