The Mrs. North Dakota - America Pageant Weekend is planned for Oct. 14-16 in Jamestown. Local titleholders will be competing for the state crown and arriving in Jamestown on Friday, Oct 14. During the pageant weekend, local titleholders will be on location, meeting the mayor, participating in a photo shoot throughout the city (visiting local attractions), styling in a fashion show at the Buffalo Mall on Oct. 15 and more.

The Mrs. North Dakota - America Pageant Weekend is planned for Oct. 14-16 in Jamestown. Local titleholders will be competing for the state crown and arriving in Jamestown on Friday, Oct 14. During the pageant weekend, local titleholders will be on location, meeting the mayor, participating in a photo shoot throughout the city (visiting local attractions), styling in a fashion show at the Buffalo Mall on Oct. 15 and more. Mary Schwartzkopf, Mrs. North Dakota-America 2011, will be leading the festivities as well her Sister Queens, Mrs. Colorado and Mrs. Iowa joining her during the weekend and participating in the pageant show.

The pageant show event on Sunday starts at 3 p.m., Oct. 16 at the Jamestown Civic Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door. A cake and coffee/punch reception will follow.

The Mrs. North Dakota America Pageant is the official state preliminary to the National Mrs. America Pageant. It is also a stage from which women in North Dakota can promote family values, women’s causes and local charities.

A pageant workshop is also planned later this month for the contestants to give training by the current Mrs. North Dakota - America 2011 to the local titleholders. Currently Mrs. Fargo, Mrs. Cass County, Mrs. Grand Forks, Mrs. S. Fargo, Mrs. La-

Moure County, and, Mrs. Jamestown are in the running for the 2012 state title. There is still time for new local titleholders to apply.
