Montpelier School Board position open

Montpelier Public Schools is on the lookout for a new school board member, said James Bear, Montpelier High School principal.

Montpelier Public Schools is on the lookout for a new school board member, said James Bear, Montpelier High School principal.

Former board member Mikel Kendrick resigned after he took a new job with a schedule that conflicted with School Board meetings.

The School Board will appoint a new member. Those interested in applying must live within the Montpelier district and are asked to contact Business Manager Amy Maurer at amy.maurer@sendit.nodak.edu.

The Montpelier School Board meets one Wednesday per month. A schedule of meeting dates and times can be found online at http://www2.montpelier.k12.nd.us/index/schoolboard.html. Click on “2011 Board meeting dates.”
