ND Guard soldiers bound for year of Kosovo duty
About 55 North Dakota National Guard soldiers are bound for a year of duty in Kosovo.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — About 55 North Dakota National Guard soldiers are bound for a year of duty in Kosovo.
The soldiers with the Bismarck-based 112th Aviation Regiment will leave later this month to be part of the multinational peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. They will be organizing and coordinating air missions.
A sendoff ceremony is scheduled Saturday morning in Bismarck. Gov. Jack Dalrymple and Guard commander David Sprynczynatyk (sprihn-suh-NAT’-ik) are to be on hand.
