GRAND FORKS (AP) — Members of the University of North Dakota’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee planned a food drive Sunday in conjunction with the UND Mortar Board.
Committee President Tyler Rose said the goal was to surpass last year’s 2,400 items collected.
All of the donated food will go to local needy families as part of a Thanksgiving meal. The UND Mortar Board honor student group for years has given out turkey baskets around the holiday.
