Williston slated to get K-9 unit
The Williston Police Department is slated to get its first police dog in more than 20 years.
WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — The Williston Police Department is slated to get its first police dog in more than 20 years.
Officer Sustin Bertsch tells the Williston Herald a recent donation put the department past the $90,000 needed to fund a city K-9 unit.
Bertsch says the plan is to begin training a new police dog in January.
