Auditor expects recall election in Valley City
Valley City Auditor Avis Richter says petition signatures to recall Mayor Bob Werkhoven and city commissioner Ken Evenson will be certified on Monday.
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — Valley City Auditor Avis Richter says petition signatures to recall Mayor Bob Werkhoven and city commissioner Ken Evenson will be certified on Monday.
Richter tells KOVC radio that a call for a special election will be on the city commission regular agenda at Monday's meeting.
She says the special election will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
One polling place at the Valley City Hall commission chamber will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
