BCI seeks firearm applicants
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is accepting applications for a Firearm and Dangerous Weapon Instructor course. The two-day instructor certification class consists of classroom instruction and a course of fire. Individuals who successfully complete the instructor course will be licensed to provide North Dakota concealed weapons training and conduct testing.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is accepting applications for a Firearm and Dangerous Weapon Instructor course. The two-day instructor certification class consists of classroom instruction and a course of fire. Individuals who successfully complete the instructor course will be licensed to provide North Dakota concealed weapons training and conduct testing.
The instructor course will be held Oct. 26-27 in Bismarck. There is no charge for the course.
Applicants must submit a completed application form to the BCI. A criminal history background check will be completed on each applicant and eligible applicants will then receive confirmation of registration from the BCI along with the course location and other information.
The instructor course application form is available on the Concealed Weapon page of the attorney general’s website, www.ag.nd.gov. Applications to attend the instructor course cannot be submitted by fax, email or telephone.
