BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved more than $238 million in federal disaster loans in North Dakota.
The agency says the loans are going to homeowners, renters, businesses and private nonprofit organizations that were hit by flooding earlier this year.
SBA says it has approved about 2,100 loans totaling $204 million for residential and personal property losses, and 215 loans for $34 million to cover business and nonprofit losses.
Flood victims have about a month left to apply for the loans — the deadline is Nov. 21.
