JC’s ‘Backpack to Briefcase’ set
The Jamestown College Look Forward Committee is hosting its fall Backpack to Briefcase Conference, “Me? Graduate School for Free!” on Tuesday. The event is free and open to the public.
The Jamestown College Look Forward Committee is hosting its fall Backpack to Briefcase Conference, “Me? Graduate School for Free!” on Tuesday. The event is free and open to the public.
The day includes a graduate school fair beginning at 11 a.m. in the Nafus Student Center. Participating graduate schools are Minot State University, Northern State University, Aberdeen, S.D., Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Bloomington, Minn., North Dakota State University, Fargo, University of Mary, Bismarck, and University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
Mock interviews with graduate school representatives will be available throughout the day.
A noon lunch and learn in the Nafus Center’s Level Two will feature a panel discussion with regional graduate school representatives as well as Jamestown College graduate and Young Alumni Medallion recipient Jennifer (Larson) Shafer. Shafer received a Masters of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in international relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School.
