Goehring: Trade agreements will boost ND exports

Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says North Dakota will benefit from the congressional passage of trade agreements with South Korea, Columbia and Panama.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says North Dakota will benefit from the congressional passage of trade agreements with South Korea, Columbia and Panama.

Goehring says the removal of tariffs means more export opportunities for North Dakota farm products, from wheat to lentils. He says exports could reach into the tens of millions of dollars.
