Workers hurt in gas leak at Grand Forks business
Grand Forks authorities say three workers were hurt in a gas leak at the Western Polymer plant.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Grand Forks authorities say three workers were hurt in a gas leak at the Western Polymer plant.
Officials say the chlorine gas was caused by the reaction of some mixed chemicals late Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters with chemical-resistant suits brought the situation under control in about 3 ½ hours. Authorities say the public wasn't in any danger.
The condition of the injured employees was not released.
