Kindred takes down Cardinals

Kindred scored twice to make it 16-0 before the Cardinals got a 26-yard touchdown run from Cole Hendrickson. Austin Hewitt hauled in the 2-point pass from Clay Heinley to make it 16-8.
But the Cardinals (7-3) did not score again, while Dahlgren had two 8-yard TD runs in the third as the Vikings pulled away.
Hendrickson carried 9 times for 57 yards.
Dahlgren churned out 168 yards rushing for Kindred.

Class A Linton-HMB 28, Milnor-NS 14
Cody Sehn galloped for 189 yards and three touchdowns to lead Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock into the Class A semifinals.
Sehn had touchdown runs of 5, 5 and 11 yards as the Lions doubled up Milnor-North Sargent, 28-14.
Tanner Purintun added a 1-yard scoring plunge for the Lions, who scored 20 second-half points after it was tied 8-all at halftime.
Sehn carried 24 times for 189 yards.
Josh Hansana threw for 160 yards and ran for 68 yards for Milnor-North Sargent.
The Lions host Enderlin-Maple Valley in the semifinals at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Maple Valley-Enderlin continued its postseason run with a 12-7 win over Oakes.
Dylan Lerud had a 1-yard run for their first touchdown and Ethan Preston made it 12-0 with a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Cody Voegeli caught a 20-yard scoring strike from Trent Ptacek in the fourth quarter to make it 12-7, but the Tornadoes could do nothing else.
Maple Valley-Enderlin upset top-ranked and unbeaten Harvey-Wells County in the opening round.

9-Man Napoleon-G-S 42, North Border 18
Jared Reis had four touchdowns and Jonah Schwartzenberger had two touchdown passes as Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter moved into the 9-man semifinals with a convincing 42-18 win over North Border on Saturday in Napoleon.
Reis, who ran for 122 yards on 18 carries, had TD runs of 35, 1 and 10-yards and also reeled in a 45-yarder from Schwartzenberger for the game’s first touchdown.
Schwartzenberger threw for 187 yards on 13 completions. He also had a scoring toss to Wade Rath-Wald. Schwartzenberger also had a 1-yard touchdown dive as the Imperials improved to 10-1 overall. They outscored North Border 30-18 in the second half after leading 12-0 at the intermission.
The win sets up a semifinal showdown with fellow Region 1 power Wyndmere-Lidgerwood on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Napoleon. The Imperials defeated the defending champion Warbirds 16-6 Oct. 14 in Wyndmere.
The other 9-man semifinal game will feature North Star hosting Divide County in Cando.
