Crosby hospital gears up for $7.5m in renovations

St. Luke's Hospital in Crosby is undergoing $7.5 million in renovations and new construction thanks to grants and donations.

CROSBY, N.D. (AP) — St. Luke's Hospital in Crosby is undergoing $7.5 million in renovations and new construction thanks to grants and donations.

The Williston Herald reports that Continental Resources donated $100,000, leading to the emergency room now being named after it. Continental founder Harold Hamm says the donation was “a chance to give back.”

The Murray Torgeson family was another hefty donor, giving $100,000 to fund a new clinic and a new assisted living wing for seniors.

St. Luke's operates as a non-profit organization
