Bismarck sees rash of stolen vehicles

Police in North Dakota's capital city are investigating a rash of stolen vehicles.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Police in North Dakota's capital city are investigating a rash of stolen vehicles.

Authorities say six vehicles have been stolen from various parts of Bismarck since last Thursday. Four have been recovered. One was found in Valley City, 135 miles away.

Owners of all the stolen vehicles left them unlocked, and five of the six had keys left inside.

In one of the thefts, a man was arrested for stealing a van from a hotel and crashing it into a house.
