FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A police official in Fargo says officers are focusing on preventing future crimes after a string of four armed robberies.
Police chief Keith Ternes said at a Tuesday news conference that he is working with law enforcement in Cass and Clay counties to take a proactive approach to the recent robberies.
The Fargo Forum reports (http://bit.ly/sG96b6 ) that Ternes called the recent string of four armed robberies an "anomaly." He said officials continue to investigate the crimes as they work with businesses to improve security systems and other preventative measures.
Police have two suspects in custody in connection with the armed robbery of a Stop-N-Go convenience store last week.
