Relay For Life seeking volunteers

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is seeking volunteers from Stutsman County. Planning has started for the Stutsman County Relay for Life to be held June 8-9, 2012.

The next RFL planning meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of the First United Methodist Church located at 115 Third St. SE, Jamestown. Planning meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month.

The RFL provides many opportunities for volunteers including organizing and recruiting fundraising teams, garnering community support, coordinating logistics, seeking refreshments and prizes, planning entertainment, and just lending a hand to ensure the success of the 2012 event.

Relay for Life is about communities uniting with the American Cancer Society and supporting its efforts to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
