ND gov seeks apps for official state band, chorus
North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is seeking applications from groups interested in being the official state band or orchestra and the official state chorus.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is seeking applications from groups interested in being the official state band or orchestra and the official state chorus.
The deadline for school, community and church groups to apply is Nov. 14. The governor and first lady Betsy Dalrymple will select the official groups based on musical talent, achievement and community service.
The groups might be invited to perform at official state functions during the year.
