Stabbing suspect to be evaluated

A judge has ordered a mental evaluation for a Wahpeton man accused of stabbing a female neighbor more than a dozen times at the apartment building in which they lived.

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A judge has ordered a mental evaluation for a Wahpeton man accused of stabbing a female neighbor more than a dozen times at the apartment building in which they lived.

Twenty-three-year-old Patrick Wolfgram is charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of 26-year-old Trista Martin. Authorities said she was stabbed in the back, neck and head on Oct. 14 and required hospitalization.

KFGO radio reported that the mental evaluation is to be done at the State Hospital in Jamestown.
