ND woman arrested for assault on police officer
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot police say a woman was arrested Saturday night for assaulting a police officer and kicking out the rear window of a patrol car.

Amber Trail is charged with felony assault on a police officer, preventing arrest, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Police say a caller reported that Trail was trying to enter a Minot residence about 10 p.m. Saturday. Trail was first arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Authorities say the 23-year-old Trail kicked the officer several times while she was being placed into the patrol car, and then kicked out the window when the car arrived at the Ward County Jail.
The officer did not seek medical treatment for his injuries.
