FARGO (AP) — A Fargo woman accused of stabbing her husband in 2003 and then skipping a court hearing the following year has been arrested in Illinois and transported back to North Dakota.
The Forum reported that Michelle Williams is jailed in Fargo on a $15,000 bond. Her public defender did not respond to requests for comment from The Forum and The Associated Press.
Authorities say Williams was 29 years old when she allegedly stabbed her husband four times with a kitchen knife, stopping only when the blade broke off in his body. Police say Williams told officers that her husband had hit her. She was charged with aggravated assault and is due back in court on Wednesday.
