Mental health exam scheduled for murder suspect

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A mental health evaluation is scheduled Nov. 22 for a Nebraska murder suspect jailed in North Dakota.

Fifty-three-year-old John Baker has been held in the McLean County jail since his arrest Oct. 24. He is accused of killing his girlfriend, 47-year-old Kelly Alspach, in South Sioux City, Neb. He was arrested at a relative's house in Garrison.

KTIV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/t9hQ7U ) that a memorial for Alspach was held last Monday.
