Flood disaster aid deadline looms in North Dakota
Time has almost run out for North Dakota flood victims to apply for disaster aid.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Time has almost run out for North Dakota flood victims to apply for disaster aid.
Monday is the deadline to apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Federal officials in September extended the deadline two months, giving victims of spring and summer flooding more time to learn the extent of their damages.
