Flood disaster aid deadline arrives in ND

Monday is the final day for victims of this year's spring and summer flooding in North Dakota to register for federal disaster assistance.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Monday is the final day for victims of this year's spring and summer flooding in North Dakota to register for federal disaster assistance.

The deadline is for Federal Emergency Management Agency aid and also for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The original deadline was earlier this fall, but federal officials in September extended it two months.
