Charles Kertzman

Charles “Chuck” Peter Kertzman, 84, of Linton ND, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday November 22, 2011.

Chuck was born on December 27, 1926 in Linton ND, to John and Otilly (Schafer) Kertzman. He grew up around Linton where he attended a country school in the area. When he was 17 he joined the military, and served in the 11th Airborne Division of the United States Army. After his military service he returned to the family farm.

He is survived by daughters Dottie, Kathy, Charlotte, and sons Patrick, Mike, John, and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death his parents; sister, Dorothy Brindle; brother Michael Kertzman; and one son, Chucky Kertzman.

Graveside service: 3:00 PM, Monday November 28, 2011 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
