Jon Rask is spending three months in Antarctica as part of his work with NASA.
Rask tells KXMB-TV he is operating the South Pole Food Growth Chamber, which grows and produces food for the crews working in the South Pole.
He says Antarctica is a good place to learn about how people interact in extremely isolated and confined environments and probably one of the closest things a person can do on earth to experience what a space mission is like.
