Motels in Valley City are booked as what is billed as the largest cattle show in North Dakota kicks off Thursday.

VALLEY CITY (AP) — Motels in Valley City are booked as what is billed as the largest cattle show in North Dakota kicks off Thursday.

Nearly 500 cattle will be showcased during the annual North Star Classic on the North Dakota Winter Show grounds.

Winter Show manager Dawn Riley told KOVC radio that the cattle show includes food, exhibits, musical entertainment and other events through the weekend.
