Police release name of Minot woman killed in fire

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot police have released the name of a 55-year-old woman killed last week in an apartment fire.

Police on Tuesday said Debbie J. Strand appeared to have died as a result of the Nov. 28 fire. Her body was found in the same area of the building where the fire was located.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but police have said previously that arson was a possibility.
