MDU Resources picks Schneider to coordinate Bakken
Bismarck-based MDU Resources Group says it has named William Schneider to the new position of executive vice president of Bakken development.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck-based MDU Resources Group says it has named William Schneider to the new position of executive vice president of Bakken development.
President and CEO Terry Hildestad says the Bakken area is undergoing unbelievably fast development, and the energy, mining and construction company can help area counties and cities meet their infrastructure needs.
Hildestad says by coordinating the business activities and marketing strategies of area operations through one position, MDU Resources can better leverage its capabilities in meeting those needs.
Schneider since 2005 has been president and chief executive officer of Knife River Corporation, MDU Resources’ construction materials and contracting business.
