Dunseith resident sentenced for distribution of marijuana
U.S. Attorney Timothy Q. Purdon has announced that on Monday, Shay D. St. Claire, 27, of Dunseith, N.D., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Daniel L. Hovland on two counts of distribution of marijuana.

Daniel L. Hovland on two counts of distribution of marijuana. St. Claire pleaded guilty to the charges on Aug. 1.
Hovland sentenced St. Claire to two years of probation. St. Claire was
ordered to pay restitution of $1,200 and special assessments of $200 to the Crime Victim’s Fund.
On July 22, 2010, and July 29, 2010, St. Claire sold marijuana to a confidential informant in the Dunseith area.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Indian Affairs - Turtle Mountain
Agency and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
