BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Agriculture Department has scheduled public meetings around the state next month to gather comments and suggestions regarding state regulation of animal feed.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says his department is reviewing the feed regulation program to determine if it meets the needs of today's industry. He says officials want to hear from everyone from feed manufacturers to pet food dealers about changes they would like to see in the feed law.
The afternoon meetings begin Jan. 9 in Bismarck and end Jan. 17 in Valley City, with meetings in between in Devils Lake, Minot and Dickinson. A full schedule can be found at http://www.nd.gov/ndda/.
