North Star, Carrington still unanimous choices

The North Star boys (8-0) and the Carrington girls (6-0) basketball teams were again unanimous No. 1 selections in this week’s state Class B basketball polls.

The North Star boys (8-0) and the Carrington girls (6-0) basketball teams were again unanimous No. 1 selections in this week’s state Class B basketball polls.

The biggest change in the boys’ top 10 is Dickinson Trinity (8-0) moving up two spots from No. 6 to No. 4. LaMoure (12-0) is still holding down the No. 3 spot, while Griggs County Central (8-1) received votes.

The girls’ top 10 stayed unchanged, except for the No. 2 and No. 3 teams switching spots. Central Cass (6-0) is now ranked No. 2 in the state, while Grafton (4-1) is ranked third.

Linton-HMB (4-0) is again ranked at No. 7.
