NDSU names interim Extension Service director
North Dakota State University has appointed an interim director for its Extension Service.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota State University has appointed an interim director for its Extension Service.
Chris Boerboom had been serving as an Extension assistant director for agriculture and natural resources, and also district director for five southeastern counties.
The Forum reports that Boerboom will fill in for Duane Hauck, who retired after 35 years with the Extension Service and seven years as director. NDSU officials are searching for a permanent successor.
The Extension Service provides the public with information and education on everything from farming to home economics.
