One injured in single-car crash

One person reported injuries after a one-vehicle Wednesday morning crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The accident happened at 8:10 a.m. on the curve from 10th Street Southeast onto 12th Avenue Southeast.

One person reported injuries after a one-vehicle Wednesday morning crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened at 8:10 a.m. on the curve from 10th Street Southeast onto 12th Avenue Southeast.

Caitlin Jensen, 21, 423 Eighth St. SW, was driving a 2001 Ford navigating the curve when she lost control on the frost-covered roadway and struck a streetlight pole.

Her passenger, Jesse Furestenburg, 25, 112 Sixth Ave. SE, complained of knee, neck and lower back pain. Furestenburg was transported via ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Jensen was wearing a seat belt and Furestenburg wore a lap belt.

There was an estimated $6,000 in damage to the Ford.

Jensen was cited for care required.
