Shoulder injury sidelines UND’s Rodwell
University of North Dakota hockey forward Derek Rodwell will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Head coach Dave Hakstol says Rodwell hurt the shoulder in a Dec. 30 game against Harvard and will have surgery later this month.
GRAND FORKS, (AP) — University of North Dakota hockey forward Derek Rodwell will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
Head coach Dave Hakstol says Rodwell hurt the shoulder in a Dec. 30 game against Harvard and will have surgery later this month.
The sophomore from Taber, Alberta, had one goal and one assist in 19 games this season.
The New Jersey Devils picked Rodwell 144th overall in the fifth round of the 2009 NHL draft.
