Children and adults will be “bouncing off the walls” during the Jumping Jack Frost air games event at the Jamestown Civic Center today. A total of 25 air games and additional attractions will be in store for attendees, according to Pam Fosse, manager of the Jamestown Civic Center.

“We are trying to promote more community-oriented events,” Fosse said. “So we’re adding this event aimed towards children and family.”

The air games get under way at 9 a.m. A full face painter, a balloon twister and a caricature artist are added to the event at noon.

Fosse said the intent is to have activities for the entire family.

“We have a toddler zone for children 4 and under,” she said. “And a rock wall and bungee jump that are available for adults to play on.”

Admission for the event is $10 for children under 18 with parents admitted free. The general admission allows participation on the air games all day with an additional charge for the rock wall and bungee jump. Concessions are available throughout the day at the Civic Center.

“We want this to be a family friendly event,” Fosse said. “We hope to make it an annual event.”
