Carrington, North Star steady at the top
Carrington and North Star are the undisputed No. 1 teams in Class B basketball right now. The Cardinals got all 13 first-place votes in the girls’ poll, while North Star did the same on the boys’ side.

Central Cass remains No. 2 behind Carrington, while Minot Ryan moved up to No. 3 and Grafton fell to No. 4.
Three area girls’ team got votes in the poll in Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock, Napoleon and New Rockford-Sheyenne.
The top four teams in the boys’ poll are unchanged from last week with LaMoure holding steady at No. 13 with a state-leading 13 wins.
Hazen at No. 8 and Rugby at No. 10, both undefeated, are newcomers to the poll.
