Blue Jays ranked No. 5 in latest Class A poll
Jamestown High School earned a spot in the latest Class A boys’ basketball rankings. The red-hot Blue Jays, who have won six straight, moved into the rankings at No. 5. They are the lone new entrant into the rankings.

Bismarck and Grand Forks Red River are 1-2. West Fargo and Wahpeton each moved up once spot to 4 and 5 in the poll, which is voted on by the North Dakota Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.
On the girls’ side, Bismarck Century edged West Fargo for the top spot as the two teams flip-flopped from last week. The Patriots got four first-place votes and the Packers three.
Fargo Shanley, Grand Forks Red River and Mandan rounded out the top 5.
