Blue Jays fall to Magicians: Minot wins 10 of 12 events en route to 126-60 victory over JHS

The Jamestown boys’ swimming and diving added to its already long list of state qualifiers on Saturday, despite falling to West Region rival Minot.
The Blue Jays had two individuals qualify in three events on Saturday in Minot, but it was the hometown Magicians swimming away to a 126-60 victory.
Andy Oslund qualified for state in both the 200 free and the 100 backstoke, while Hunter Boehm beat the state-qualifying mark in the 100 fly.
Minot won 10 of the 12 events, including all three relays.
Braydon Love and Willy Marler picked up the two victories for the Blue Jays in the 200 IM and the 50 freestyle, respectivley, but the Magicians responded with eight straight victories, including three 1-2-3 finishes.
Jamestown had five runner-up finishes and four third-place finishes.
The Blue Jays will return to the pool Friday on the road against Bismarck Century.
