Crash near Devils Lake sends 6 teens to hospital

Authorities are investigating a pickup truck crash that sent six Devils Lake teenagers to the hospital.

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a pickup truck crash that sent six Devils Lake teenagers to the hospital.

The Highway Patrol says a 14-year-old boy was driving the truck that went out of control on a Ramsey County gravel road and rolled in the ditch. It happened about 9:20 p.m. Monday two miles east of Devils Lake.

The driver and five passengers were taken to a Devils Lake hospital with unknown injuries. The four male passengers and one female passenger range in age from 14 to 16.

The patrol says one of the victims was transferred to a Fargo hospital.
