Forty-six cited after big party bust

Forty-six people face citations for underage drinking after a large party bust in the eastern North Dakota town of Wheatland.

WHEATLAND, N.D. (AP) — Forty-six people face citations for underage drinking after a large party bust in the eastern North Dakota town of Wheatland.

Police said an anonymous tip led them to the party Friday night that was attended by more than 70 people. One teenager was taken to juvenile detention for trying to escape. Authorities said two adults also were arrested, one of them for trying to help the teenager.
