Minot Air Force Base starting $70M runway project
The Air Force this year is beginning a $70 million runway replacement project at Minot Air Force Base.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — The Air Force this year is beginning a $70 million runway replacement project at Minot Air Force Base.
The Minot Daily News reports that 5th Civil Engineer Squadron commander Lt. Col. Matthew Jefson says the work will be done in three phases over the next three years. He says the existing runway that was built in the late 1950s will be torn out and replaced.
