LAKOTA, N.D. (AP) — A Petersburg man accused of sexually abusing girls has been sentenced to serve seven years in prison.
Authorities say the crimes dated back to 2004, and the victims of 48-year-old Michael McClary ranged in age from 7 to 14. He reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in which he pleaded guilty to five counts of gross sexual imposition.
McClary was convicted of sexual assault in 1997 in Canada, served nearly four years in prison and was deported to the U.S. in 2001.
