Sex offender gets seven years

A Petersburg man accused of sexually abusing girls has been sentenced to serve seven years in prison.

LAKOTA, N.D. (AP) — A Petersburg man accused of sexually abusing girls has been sentenced to serve seven years in prison.

Authorities said the crimes dated back to 2004, and the victims of 48-year-old Michael McClary ranged in age from 7 to 14. He reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in which he pleaded guilty to five counts of gross sexual imposition.
